Communities Made SimpleNobody put your name on the "Naughty List" for reach. β In fact, there's a 99.5% chance that Zuck doesn't even know who you are. β Mosseri did not design an *anti-you* system meant to suppress YOUR posts. β Let's break it down. β An algorithm is a system that studies how YOU interact with the platform and feeds you content and accounts in-line with YOUR interactions. β So, I'm sorry to tell you this (not really). β But it all starts with you. β All of these social media apps prioritize time spent on the app, so the algorithm is designed to keep you on the platform. β So, all the content you consume, and interact with is taken under consideration when it creates your feed. β This works in the opposite direction as well. β The algorithm focuses on pushing your content out to people who will in turn consume and engage with your content. β So if you're putting out content that is focused on complaining, and invites others to share their complaints... β That's where your algorithm is going to push your content. Happy Holidays! For those of you who have been following me on Threads for a while, you'll know that I've been working on a new guide. β Still within the Communities Made Simple family, as that's my real focus here, but that's beside the point. β As a perk of being subscribed to my newsletter, I wanted to give you all early access to the new guide.β β And not only that... β I've got a fun little freebie to give you a tease of what's included in this new edition. β
β Thanks again for being here! Get out there and build that community. Don't worry about your follower count. Focus on creating those relationships. The rest will follow. New here?βClick here to read the last email I sent out. βClick here for more content from me!
