The Downward Spiral

Communities Made Simple

Ever have an accidental doomscrolling session and notice something?

The more you scroll, the more the content starts to look the same?

That is the power of the algorithm working right in front of you.

"You are what you eat."

You've heard it before right?

Possibly even hundreds of times.

Think of it this way.

It applies to your feed too.

The algorithm is ALWAYS watching you.

What content you interact with.

What content you scroll past.

Even the content you close the app on.

It takes notes and calculates all of that to create a feed of content that aligns with your activity.

The end goal is to keep you ON the platform after all.

It makes sense that they pay attention to what does that.

So the next time you want to complain about what the algorithm is doing to your feed...

Take a look at what you've been engaging with.

Be INTENTIONAL with your interactions.

Your engagement matters.

Get out there and build that community.

Don't worry about your follower count.

Focus on creating those relationships.

The rest will follow.
